My name is Steve and I'm 26, have brown/blonde hair, green eyes, and love long walks on the beach...or something...

I now have a Bachelor of Arts, English major from the University of Saskatchewan AND a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from AIM Victoria & Tasmania! Go me!

I currently work as the Technical Training Coordinator at a law firm based in the Rialto Towers of the Melbourne CBD. I tend to travel a lot with my role, usually to Sydney.

I received Australian Permanent Residency in 2004, and my citizenship in 2008 (I've remained a citizen of Canada as well). I decided to move after completing a working holiday in Australia, which was great -- I loved Australia and the friends and family I have in Melbourne especially are incredible, I love them and missed them all so much, as well as the country -- Australia is a beautiful a place.

That isn't to say I don't miss and love my friends and family in Canada as well!

I am gay, and not ashamed of it. I've had a weird journey to get to that level of acceptance with my life, but now that I'm here, I'm happy to share it with everyone and maybe even make someone else's journey a little less painful. My family and most of my friends stand by me and I'm very thankful for that. I'm only sorry I strung some of them along for so long. I hope they can understand why. If not -- please read the "Being all Gay" section of my website to try to!

I love to sing, and write songs as well. It's my big dream to one day become a successful music star, but I don't think that will ever happen. I'd like to thank my friends for encouraging me to keep on pursuing this dream, with words, their own voices and writing talents, and simply for being themselves. You all rock!

I am a huge fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Alias, Angel, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Heroes, Smallville, and Star Trek.

My site originated as a place to post journals and pictures while on a short vacation to Melbourne, Australia. Since its inception, Stevivor.com has taken on many forms, and featured many colors, each suiting my needs as I extended his time in Australia, eventually deciding to stay. In its current incarnation, the website serves as a gay resource but also as an online folio for Steve's writing and broadcasts.

It is my hope that the information presented on this website is not only fun to look at, but interesting, informative, and helpful as well. Enjoy yourself!
